Why These Sources Are Grouped
California makes certain current arrest facts public, but those facts do not all live in one database. The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office creates county booking records and operates the roster for Main Jail and Rio Cosumnes Correctional Center. Sacramento Superior Court carries filed charges and dispositions after booking. The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation covers selected people in state-prison custody. Records requests fill some gaps, although the Sheriff says booking photographs requested under the California Public Records Act are not releasable.
This site organizes those official paths by the question each one can answer. It also explains why a city police log, a current jail result, and a court case are not interchangeable. No arrest records or mugshot galleries are stored here.
Records Paths Included Here
The main resources focus on Sacramento County’s actual publication practices:
- The home page gives the full county roster, recent-booking, records-request, court, release-alert, and lawful correction paths.
- Three city pages explain how Sacramento, Elk Grove, and Citrus Heights police logs connect to county booking records.
- The Most Wanted Fugitives page separates the regional wanted list from Sacramento’s subject-only warrant confirmation process.
- The Crime News page identifies local publishers and shows how to verify a story against official records.
Limits of a Private Reference
This is a privately operated website. It has no connection to a California government agency, sheriff’s office, jail, court, or corrections department.
- We cannot release, hold, or transfer a person in custody.
- We cannot post bond, arrange a visit, or send funds.
- We cannot provide legal advice.
- We cannot promise that an agency’s contact, fee, or schedule has not changed.
Only the responsible sheriff, court, or corrections agency can confirm custody, release, charges, or the contents of an official record.
How Search Partners Work
Some pages contain search boxes run by outside providers. Those companies choose their own prices and control their own results. If a visitor follows a tool and buys a subscription or service, this site may receive a referral fee that helps keep access free. We do not set the partner’s charges or decide what its search returns.
